 Whitefaced Woodland 

Fibre Colours: The natural colours are white.

Feel in hand: It has a lovely soft but firrm squish.

Smell: It has a lovely smell to the fibre the sheep smell is not overbearing. It has almost like a baby powder clean hair smell.

Fibre uses: what ever you like as its soft enough next to my extra sensitive skin.

Historical facts: Conservation breed from the Penine Mountains. and nearly became extinct in the 12th century. "The story goes... they were bred by the Romans to take with them on their marches across the countryside so had to be strong, long-legged and happy to browse on whatever was available as they covered the length and breadth of the countryside"

Next to skin feel: I love the feel its soft and squishy and the slight crisp feel.

Fibre Luster: Its a matte kind of shine.

Staple length: 3" to 8"
Microns: 28 to 35

Spun on my Kromski Sonata - using the whorl size 10 to 1 
I plyed from center pull ball 
Aran/ Knitted Worsted (8-9 WPI)
35.1 meters
Plying shows a definite pretty twist in the plyed yarn
A pretty creamy white colour with a matte sheen but not overly bright sheen.
Would I buy this fibre again.. Yes
Would I knit with it.. Absolutely yes its a lovely feeling yarn.

Historical facts: There is no such thing as a Falkland sheep breed - but all wool grown near Falkland Islands near Argentina is referred to as Falkland wool.

Would I knit with it.. Yes it feels amazing, its soft but a slight nice firm feel aswell.
