Purple power!

 

Merino/silk and sari thread yarn.

I made 108 meters and its a chunky 14ply to 12ply yarn and about 3 to 4 inches per stitch. 

I sold this yarn today to a fellow crafter in my town.

I just can't get the colours to show so this is it.. Its so nice and chunky.. Its all 3 batts  I bought from Kathys Fibres.. they were Merino/silk and I popped them back through my electric carder and added some sari silk thread fibres onto the batts. I spun it as a chunky single and then plyed it with a cotton thread.
