Historical Facts: Conservation breed from England. Part of the English longwool family. One of the oldest sheep breeds going as far back as the 13th century. Originating from the Romney marsh and lowlands of the south east coast of Kent and Sussex England.
Next to skin feel: Perfectly soft, one of my favourite fibres.
Fibre Luster: Nothing too bright but its very nice.
Staple length: 4" to 8"
