Feel in hand: Crisp, crunchy and springy and a little soft.

Fibre prep: Worsted method recommended.

Smell: A slight sheep smell not overbearing.

Fibre uses: Outerwear recommended, hats, coats, jackets,  rugged items.

Historical Facts: Is a conservation breed.  Originates from the hills of Exmoor National Park, England. Remains have been found in Roman encampments on the North Devon coast. 95% of the breeding stock are within the moorlands of Devon and West Somerset.

Next to skin feel: Definitely itchy!..

Fibre lustor: Subtle shine.
