Teeswater Day 10

Colours: White

Feel in hand: Soft but hairy feel

Fibre prep: Ill probably do a long draw as this is a Longwool.

Smell: Fresh clean sheep smell but not overbearing.

Fibre uses: As its a Longwool its more suited for woven or even crochet items. Im not keen on these types of fibres as next to skin items.

Historical Facts: Conservation British breed. Named after the river Tees in England. Their numbers fell in the beginning of the 20th century but have started to recover.

Next to skin feel: Its prickly next to my neck but would be ok for beanies or hats.

Fibre Lustor: Apparently its luster gives brilliant results when dyed.

Staple length: 12" to 15"

Microns: 30 to 36
