Spin to Knit along

 There's a spin to knit challenge starting today on Instagram and hosted by Eve from Knitting with Eve

Its a laid back holiday spin along for spinners world wide to spin 100g of fibre or more from November 15th to the 23rd, and then knit your newly spun yarn into a project of your choice from the 24th November to the 7th December.

I'm asking all my spinning buddies on Instagram to join in as its fun to see what others create as it gives me inspiration and ideas for future knits.

I'm probably not the fastest knitter on the planet so I'm thinking of making a really basic beanie as my finished project.

I'm going to use my Fossil Fibers dyed Targhee firbre that I was lucky enough to score in an Aussie destash on Ravelry earlier this year. I've been saving this to spin and this seems like the perfect time to dig it out. 

I'm going to spin this on my kromski sonata wheel and use the fast flyer as other spinners have said targhee fibre seems to need more twist in the fibres as its a pretty floofy yarn when plied.

Ok lets get my wheel Pearl out and start spinning..
